TOUCHING UP OUR BRAND

When it came to the fifteen year anniversary of the gallery (how?), I thought it would be a good time to rethink how we were positioning the business. A lot of you have supported us over those 15 years, purchasing artworks for your homes, your offices, and showing us the loyalty that has let us run the gallery for this long.

As the mother of three young adults, I’m becoming more and more aware that young people struggle to navigate the world of art. Many young adults face the whirlwind of price, value, scale, investment and much without any help. I want Battletown Gallery to be a space for all ages, people from all walks of life, and to be a place where everyone is welcome.

After discussing with friends and family, I decided that maybe it was time to give the gallery more of a presence online. Someone recommended I speak to Hundred Studio, and after lots of research and discussions with the guys at Hundred we decided that it was time to take a new step in the Gallery’s story.

Our new visual identity was created to promote the work we exhibit, giving us freedom with the artists we are showcasing and allowing the Gallery to become more appropriate and engaging to a younger audience.

Our services and offering haven’t changed – we still offer art consultancy and exhibitions, we’re still curating and showcasing Irish artists from up-and-coming talent to recognised artists.

We’re just trying to make sure the Gallery gets the same love we show to all of our artists and clients.

In short – we’re really excited. We can’t wait to see what happens next, and it doesn’t bear to think where we might be in another 15 years…

Thanks for all your support, over all the years.

Alison
